Food You've Missed Over the Past Few Months

I believe Apologies are in order

Well I haven't posted in almost a year.... so I'm assuming anyone who read this has abandoned this blog but I'm hoping I can start up posting once again now that school is winding down and I will only have work tow worry about.

I hope to have a post up for you guys soon so look out for it!

The Slice is indeed Nice

After class today I took a walk through the area around Providence and found Nice Slice pizza.

And It was Indeed

Before even entering Nice Slice you are greeted by a rather intresting handle and then upon entering you are bombared by colors and pictures and bottles and tons of little nicknack's on all side. It certinly fits the idea of the place though, nothing feels out of place.

Hello once again!

The pizza itself didn't hurt either. I got one slice with bacon, tomatoes, mozzarella, and white sauce, and the second and better slice in my opinion was cranberries, spinach, almonds and feta cheese.

Both pieces had a crispy bottom but still a bit of chew to them, and the crust had a nice flavor on it's on. The flavor was spot on, and for two slices of pizza and a root beer it was only around $8, which isn't half bad. So if you're in Providence go and check them out.

Brown

The lack of posting in the next few weeks(minus one possible reallllly late update) is because I am doing a Summer class at Brown University for the next two weeks. While there are some lovely restaurants in the area, I am cheap, and will probably be eating at one of the many dinning halls on campus.

There may be some post of the food on the campus but if you really want to get a feel for how students make their meals better check out Ratty Gourmet. It's not up and running for the summer, but it's still an interesting place to check out.
